This September, Pediatric Associates of Cheshire is proud to welcome Dr. Stephanie Gidicsin to our physician team!
Dr. Gidicsin grew up in Cheshire and attended the old Norton School and Dodd Middle School while swimming with the Cheshire Y Sea Dog Swim Club.She attended college at Harvard and then completed medical school at New York University Grossman School of Medicine before coming back to Connecticut for her residency at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital. She is very pleased to be returning to her hometown to care for the children of Cheshire and the surrounding area!
Dr. Gidicsin is excited to develop long-term relationships with her patients and families. She particularly enjoys answering questions and sharing information with parents, ranging from normal childhood growth and development to explaining new diagnoses or medications.
Beyond the office, Dr. Gidicsin is passionate about advocating for children in our state. Her main area of interest is water safety, and she has worked with other physicians across Connecticut to encourage lawmakers to advance bills that promote swim safety in our communities.
