Jessica Takores, MD

Dr. Jessica Takores was born and raised in Rhode Island, though has called Connecticut home since her college years. She earned her undergraduate degree from Connecticut College before receiving her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She remained at UConn and Connecticut Children’s for her pediatric residency, where she also became a mother—an experience that deepened her appreciation for the joys and challenges of caring for children and supporting families.

Following residency, Dr. Takores completed an additional year as Chief Resident and became a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). She is passionate about caring for children from infancy through young adulthood and supporting families throughout every stage of their child’s development. She values building lasting relationships with her patients and families and believes that partnering with parents is one of the most rewarding and meaningful aspects of pediatric care.

Dr. Takores is also part of the Clinical Faculty at UConn as well as Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics of the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University.

Dr. Takores lives in Cheshire with her husband and their two children. Outside the office, you may spot her cheering from the sidelines at youth sports’ games, exploring the community with her family, or enjoying a taste of Rhode Island locally with a Del’s from Rose Dairy.
